How Triple Filtration works
Powered by a renewable coconut shell-based activated carbon core, reduces contaminants in three stages.

How frequently should I change my water filter?
For crisp, clean and refreshing water, everydrop brand recommends replacing your water filter every 6 months. It may need to be changed more frequently depending on your usage and water quality.
Does my water filter clean itself when I reset the indicator light?
Your everydrop® water filter does not clean or reset itself. Resetting the indicator light only resets the light; it does not replace or refresh the filter. Replace your filter regularly, every 6 months, to keep your water crisp, clean and refreshing.

Twist-In Filter (Filter A, 2, 4, 5 & 6)
Find the filter cartridge cap.
Rotate the cap counterclockwise to a vertical position, and then pull.
Remove the filter cap by sliding it right or left. Set aside cap. Discard old filter.
Remove the packaging and O-ring covers from the new filter. Slide the filter cap on.
Purge air from the water line. See instructions below.
Push-In Filter (Filter 1 & 3)
Find the filter cartridge cap. Do not remove cap yet.
Push the eject button, and then pull the filter cap. Do not twist cap.
Remove the filter cap by turning it counterclockwise. Set aside cap. Discard old filter.
Remove the packaging and O-ring covers from the new filter. Slide the filter cap on.
Push filter into the base grille until the eject button pops. Gently tug on cap to ensure it is snug.
Align arrows on the cap and new filter. Turn clockwise to snap in place.
Purge air from the water line. See instructions below.
Purge Air from the Water Line
After replacing the filter, flush air from the system to prevent the dispenser from dripping.
Using a cup, press and hold the dispenser for 5 seconds, and then release for 5 seconds.
Repeat until water flows, and then continue for an additional 2 minutes.
If your dispenser drips, do this again to flush air that enters the system from the water supply.

everydrop® filters are color-coded for easy, unmistakable matching. Simply match the number/letter and color on your current filter to the packaging, and you'll know you've got the right fit for your refrigerator.
If you're not sure of your filter's number or color, you can also enter your refrigerator model number into the Find Your Filter tool, located at the top of the page, and you'll be taken directly to your compatible filter's product page.

How do I set up a subscription?
Sign up for an everydropwater.com account, search for your filter, and select Subscribe to Save in the purchasing options. Then choose how often you'd like your filters shipped and how many.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the frequency and price selected during checkout and can be cancelled via the subscription section of My Account before the refill order date to avoid future charges. See full subscription terms for more details.

How long does it take to ship my filter?
Delivery can take up to 10 business days, depending on your location. If your order is taking longer than expected, please contact us at 1-800-442-9991.
What is the return policy?
Products may be returned within 30 days of the shipment date. Items must be unused and in their original packaging, and returns must be made using UPS shipping services. Customers are responsible for return shipping and handling charges; original shipping, handling and return postage charges are non-refundable.
To return your merchandise, repack the product in its original packaging and call 1-800-442-9991 (Monday–Friday, 8AM–6PM ET, closed weekends) to secure a Return Authorization.
Do water filters expire?
everydrop® water filters do not have an expiration date. Keep a few replacement filters on hand for easy changeovers whenever it's time to replace yours.

Locating your refrigerator model number
Before searching for a compatible replacement filter, be sure you own one of the brands or products that uses everydrop® water filters. These include: Whirlpool®, Maytag®, KitchenAid®, JennAir®, Amana®, and the everydrop® Water Dispenser.
Depending on your refrigerator, the model number may be located in a variety of locations, including:
- Ceiling of refrigerator interior
- Inside walls of refrigerator or freezer (possibly behind drawers)
- Frame behind the door when the door is opened
- Behind the kickplate
- On the back of the refrigerator
- On the door of the refrigerator
